The TRG Food & Beverage Manufacturing Search Division is seeking a driven and dynamic PROJECT ENGINEER to be a true change agent for a global Food & Beverage Manufacturer in the Fayetteville, NC area.

 

We are looking for a degreed PROJECT ENGINEER with 3 or more years of experience with project management in Food Manufacturing/Production or Consumer Packaged Goods. Must be an innovative individual with strong interpersonal and technical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan, and lead capital projects across multiple facilities
  • Provide in-depth information on specifications, time requirements, cost estimates, personnel needs and more through careful analysis of all factors involved
  • Design and conduct tests to ensure product performance, optimal design, and function
  • Facilitate cross-functional team success through meetings, progress reports, and ensuring use of best practices

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field of study)
  • 3+ years of hands-on engineering and project management experience in food processing, manufacturing, production, or similar setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence
  • Ability to drive operational performance through effective communication, coaching, time management, problem solving, etc.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
