Manufacturing Plant Maintenance Manager | Capital Planning | Preventative Maintenance The Richmond Group USA Manufacturing Search Division is seeking a Plant Engineering & Maintenance Manager to join a manufacturing client near Minneapolis. This role provides site engineering, maintenance, and project leadership at an industrial process manufacturing operation. Lead maintenance supervisors, machine supervisors, and engineering technicians; take charge on plant engineering projects, equipment preventative maintenance and repair, and contracted maintenance services. This is a unique opportunity for a self-directed, strong leader to join an established manufacturing business ($800M), sit on the site leadership team, and grow in the Plant Management. Responsibilities of the Role Drive PM and continuous improvement through maintenance teams. Coach department managers and supervisors. Lead skilled trade and labor. Lead and develop plant projects and supervise subcontractors as needed. Evaluate current processes and procedures for electrical components, automation systems, mechanical process equipment, and facility needs. Develop and implement preventative maintenance and machine reliability methods for automation and electrical systems, mechanical process equipment, and plant mechanical systems. Review and coordinate all standards and projects related to safety equipment, environmental control systems, and material handling equipment. Maintain budget and workflows for purchasing all parts and equipment for plant operations. Desired Qualifications Technical Degree preferred (electrical engineering, electronics or mechanical engineering ideal) Strong background with electronics, automation machinery, mechanical systems, fire protection systems and other plant related equipment Supervisory experience in an industrial setting (automation and solids handling preferred) Prefer some experience as a Plant Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, Reliability Engineer, or Plant Engineering Manager If you are interested in this or future opportunities in your area please apply with a WORD or PDF version of your resume.
