Process Engineer – Growing Chemical Manufacturer | Greater Richmond, VA

Our client, a well-funded and rapidly expanding chemical manufacturer, is increasing production volume and investing heavily in their future. They are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to lead high-impact initiatives in process design, safety, and production optimization at their cGMP / FDA-regulated facility in the Greater Richmond, VA region.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a high-growth environment, where your expertise will directly shape plant performance and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive process design and optimization to support increased production capacity.
  • Champion process safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across operations.
  • Mentor and develop operators and junior associates
  • Lead technical projects that deliver immediate and measurable results.
  • Manage documentation, batch records & audits

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical Engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (chemical process, small molecule processes, pharmaceutical processing)
  • Strong leadership, communication & troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with tech transfer, P&IDs, and process optimization
