Job Description

TRG Manufacturing Search Division has an outstanding opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer to join the growing R&D team of a leading global manufacturer of precision consumer products, industrial, and medical equipment. This is an exciting chance for a skilled engineer to take on a highly visible role within a well-funded equipment research and development team.

As part of a multi-discipline R&D group, you’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of embedded software development—designing, coding, debugging, and documenting applications in C, C++, and C#. You will collaborate with hardware engineers and scientists to bring new concepts to life, integrating real-time operating systems, analyzing performance, and ensuring reliability and manufacturability of next-generation prototypes.

This role is ideal for a degreed engineer with strong system architecture experience and at least five years of embedded development for electronic or electro-mechanical products. Beyond coding, you’ll have the opportunity to lead design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and guide projects across multiple disciplines, building both technical expertise and leadership skills. Come join a team where your expertise drives innovation. Apply today!

Background:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer, Electrical, or related field) and 5+ years of embedded software development experience
  • Proficient in C, C++, and C# for software development in Windows, Linux, and RTOS environments with expertise in system-level debugging and hardware/software integration.
  • Experience creating test programs, analyzing results, and documenting processes
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities
