Regional Sales Manager – Central US

Location: Remote, MO, KS, IA, OK, NE, CO, WY and part of Montana

Industry: Specialty Food Films & Packaging

Employment Type: Full-Time remote

Travel: Weekly across the territory

Role Overview

We're seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Regional Sales Manager with a hunter mentality. Ideal candidates will have backgrounds in plastics, consumables (e.g., meat casings, food labels, inks), or small equipment oems like printing for food manufactures with a consumable as well. You’ll drive growth in the Cetral territory by building new business and nurturing client relationships. While working for one of the Countries well-known brands! We focus heavily in meat and cheese so candidates who have experience calling on food processors in those industries highly preferred. Company is willing to train on specific engineered consumables they sell.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the food manufacturing sector.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Travel weekly within the territory to meet clients, attend events, and stay informed on market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and continued support.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales success in flexible packaging and containers in the food industry.
  • Strong business development skills and a clear hunter mindset.
  • 3-5 years outside sales experience within a multi-state Territory
  • Experience working with food manufacturers.
  • Comfortable and willing to travel frequently within the territory.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Reside in the Territory
  • Open to weekly travel
