Job Description

Project Engineer - Lead Electrical Projects, Provide High Level Technical Troubleshooting and Support Capital Investment Projects

I’m partnering with a manufacturing organization that’s actively investing in its future, including new capital projects, commissioning a new production line, and expanding plant capabilities.

They’re looking to bring on an Electrical Engineering leader who wants to play a key role in that growth.

This isn’t just a maintenance-focused position — this is an opportunity to:

  • Lead and execute multiple capital projects from concept through startup
  • Serve as the go-to electrical and automation expert for the plant
  • Help commission a new production line and influence long-term plant performance
  • Drive reliability improvements across electrical distribution and control systems
  • Work hands-on with PLC programming, instrumentation, and process control systems

You’ll be partnering closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering, with real visibility and impact on how the plant evolves.

What they’re looking for:

  • Electrical Engineering degree is ideal
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, chemical, or similar environments
  • Strong background in power distribution, controls, and automation
  • Experience with capital project execution and/or PLCs (Rockwell experience is a plus)
  • Someone who enjoys both technical problem-solving and project leadership

Why this role stands out:

  • Significant capital investment and growth trajectory
  • Opportunity to shape new systems and processes from the ground up
  • High-impact role with ownership and visibility
  • A company culture that values its people and long-term development

If you’re an Electrical Engineer who enjoys building, improving, and leading, this is worth a conversation.
