ON SITE Operations Manager / Commissioning Leader / Future Plant Manager Our client is building something from the ground up and we’re looking for a leader who thrives in that environment. This role is approximately 30 miles from Pittsburg KS and about 80 miles from KC Metro area. This is a rare opportunity to take a brand-new manufacturing facility currently in construction, leading through commissioning, startup, and into full-scale operations. The person in this role will not just inherit a plant, they will help build it, shape it, and ultimately lead it. At the center of this role is a critical challenge: bridging commissioning into operational excellence. We are seeking someone who can seamlessly connect engineering, construction, and commissioning activities with the realities of running a safe, reliable, high-performing manufacturing operation. What We’re Looking For Proven experience leading units startups, or major expansions, or equipment commissioning efforts Strong background in chemical or process manufacturing environments preferred Experience building maintenance and reliability systems from the ground up Track record of implementing continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives Ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead through change Background BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Experience in chemical process plants or similar production setting Strong maintenance reliability and production operations metrics Capital project ownership including commissioning new process equipment, tanks, etc Lean or other CI improvement initiatives   This is an opportunity to step into a role where you can make an immediate impact—and grow with a company that is investing in its people and its future. We are seeking an Engineering Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer to manage projects through from concept to startup of regulated processing equipment and infrastructure upgrades. We’re partnering with a regulated manufacturing organization in growth mode , with multiple new products being commercialized over the next several years . This is a company investing heavily in its infrastructure, people, and capabilities to help reduce reliance on global manufacturing for essential medicines and prescriptions .
