We have be engaged in an exceptionally rare opportunity to lead commercial expansion for a highly differentiated toxicology laboratory as a Business Development Director . Our client has a compliance profile few organizations in the U.S. can match— CAP accredited, CLIA certified, and licensed by both the New York State Department of Health and California .
The laboratory also offers a powerful clinical differentiator: a single-sample assay capable of screening 120 drugs of abuse simultaneously , delivering unmatched efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory confidence to clients.

Key Responsibilities
Drive new business development across targeted geographic markets
Establish and expand relationships with health systems, physician groups, pain management, behavioral health, and reference lab partners
Identify and execute market-entry strategies in new territories
Own pipeline creation, deal progression, and revenue generation
Collaborate with laboratory leadership to align commercial strategy with clinical and operational capabilities
Qualifications:
At least 5 years proven success in toxicology or clinical laboratory business development
Track record of opening territories and exceeding revenue targets
Strong network within addiction medicine, pain management, behavioral health, or laboratory services
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build markets from the ground up
Location in one of these states: CA, CO, MD, LA, or TX (please note although the position is listed in CO, it be located in any of these 5 states)
